Dear Trevor, I wanted to write to thank the club for a wonderful day yesterday. From the moment we arrived ,all of us were made very welcome. In case I miss any names, because everyone was brilliant, I shall not provide individual accolades but from the serving of the bacon rolls, the bar service (the Yardbird beer down a treat following my recommendation!), the lovely meal of chicken breast covered by cheese, not to mention the condition of the golf, everything was first class. Our organiser was effusive in his congratulations but unfortunately not many of the staff were around when we gave them a round of applause when sitting at the table. I was especially happy about yesterday as, to be frank, the society had not been given a particularly good experience by the club in the past. Nothing too bad but the message had spread and was reflected in my speaking to some of the members. It was one of the reasons that I encouraged the society to come and give it another go. So I'm pleased...

On behalf of the members of Earl Stonham WI can I thank all those involved with last night's superb meal, The food was excellent and the waitresses couldn't do enough for us. It was a great evening and I have had lots of people contact me today to say how much they enjoyed it. Please pass our thanks on to all concerned Happy Christmas to you all. Dear Trevor, Again we were delighted to have enjoyed another excellent Charity Evening at the Golf Club this year.  As always, the food, the services and the arrangements generally were excellent and many who came expressed their thanks to us for arranging this evening at the golf club - long may it continue! Please pass on our thanks to all of the staff who looked after us on the evening.  Their help was really appreciated and was rewarded by us making a small presentation to everybody as an indication of our gratitude for the way we were looked after on the night. Just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone for making our day such a success. 30 golfers and 41 diners and everyone had a great time. The weather wasn’t the best but the course held up and there was no complaints from anyone about the conditions. We had a great meal and everyone was complimentary about the food and service. Nicola, Please pass on our gratitude to all the staff at Stowmarket.   Everyone had an excellent time today, and I have been pressurized into keeping your course on our list for future years.    Everything worked at treat, from the Pro Shop ensuring the buggy was ready and the spot prize markers were in place, the course was in very good condition with lots of variety in the different holes, I am still trying to work out why you are on preferred lies.   However, the catering surpassed even the course, the food was a delight and the staff who served us were fantastic, just what we needed after a hard days golf. Hi Nicola, Just a short note to say thank you for your hospitality and warm welcome yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. The course was in great condition, even if my golf wasn’t! The food was lovely - you’ve struck gold with your recently appointed chef.  Please convey my gratitude to Chris and his catering team. You may already know that Norman, my opposite number from the Suffolk Medical Golfing Society, has already booked next year’s fixture for May 9th.  I look forward to playing the course again although we shouldn’t really wish for time to pass too quickly. We just wanted to record our appreciation of the facilities afforded us last night at the golf club to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The staff were exceedingly helpful, particularly Chris who was so calm and reassuring that all would be well on the night.
